The Anon Merak WaveCel helmet is loaded with top-end features and the latest safety technologies, perfect for those wanting the very best. Using a 50/50 hybrid construction, the top section is made from an Endura ABS hard shell which is tough and durable; the bottom section uses in-mould to keep the weight to a minimum. The impact-absorbing EPS foam inner has an integrated WaveCel layer, a collapsible cellular structure of interconnected shock absorbers that can flex, crumple and glide in the event of an accident; this process allows it to absorb energy and divert rotational forces away from the head. A powerful active venting system allows airflow and temperature to be controlled by sliding a button; it has 19 vents in total, 8 of which are fully adjustable. The Polartec Power Grid fleece lining and ear pads are moisture-wicking, quick-drying and provide all-day warmth and comfort. A dial on the rear controls the 360 BOA fit system which wraps around the head, simply twist for micro-adjustment. The magnetic Fidlock chin buckle can be opened/closed using one hand, even with gloves on, and the ear pads are audio compatible.
