Atomic Backland Helmet

Description

The Atomic Backland helmet has been designed specifically for ski tourers with all their needs considered. As it’s multi-norm certified it passes the safety standards for skiing, climbing, and cycling. Hybrid construction uses an EPP Edge Protection foam in the lower section, and an EPS foam upper resulting in a helmet that s lightweight, safe, and durable. The outer Polycarbonate shell has additional PC Microshells which provide added structural reinforcement. Atomic s Holo Core liner works like a crumple zone on a car by absorbing shock from an impact, and AMID foam deflects energy from angled falls; together they surpass industry stands by up to 40%. Aircon venting is simple but effective enabling air to flow easily, and the removable/washable liner is warm and breathable. For long tours and hot days simply remove the winter liner and replace it with the Skimo version to keep you cool. 3D moulded ear pads are shaped for comfort and the 360O Fit System can be adjusted at the twist of a dial. There is a Headlamp Fixation for evening tours, a Removable Strap Station and goggle clip to keep them securely in place, and a highly visible Reflective Element at the back. Finally, there is a magnetic Fidlock chin buckle which is easy to use even with gloves on, and a RECCO reflector built in.
