Developed with Head s team of elite athletes, the Downforce is a true ski race helmet that offers exceptional value for money. The hard-shell outer is tough and durable, and the dual-density EPS foam liner increases the impact absorbing properties of the helmet, enabling it to pass the FIS certification standard. Changeable adaptor plates on the side allow a chin guard to be worn (sold separately) or provide improved acoustics for speed disciplines when a guard is not needed. Thermal ventilation automatically pushes hot air out allowing cooler air to enter, and the metal chin buckle ensures the helmet remains securely in place. The microfleece beanie liner manages moisture effectively and the neck gaiter can be removed depending on weather conditions. A padding kit is included which can be used to provide a more precise fit.
