Salomon s Driver Pro Sigma ski helmet is different to most visor helmets out there. Rather than one large lens that slides up and down, this lens fits more like a traditional goggle, sitting snugly on the face. When not needed it can be moved up and out the way while remaining integrated into the helmet. Sigma lens technology amplifies contrast helping you to read the terrain in front more easily, provides 100% UV protection and is OTG (Over the Glasses) compatible. Salomon s SMART safety uses low-density EPP inserts within the foam at critical impact points, and the EPS4D liner works like a crumple zone on a car, both working together to maximise energy absorption in the event of an accident. Hybrid construction combines an injected ABS upper shell and a lightweight in-mould lower to create a helmet that s tough while keeping weight down. Active Ventilation allows the wearer to open/close external vents depending on conditions and MaxFit V-shaped earpads are instantly comfortable. Custom Dial 360 provides a personalised and secure fit at the twist of a dial and the removable/washable Advancedskin Activedry liner is warm and moisture wicking. Uses Salomon s oval shape fit. The Sigma Emerald visor is a universal CAT 2 (26% VLT) lens that is suitable for a wide variety of conditions from overcast days to brighter light.
